Caixa Mágica designed and built Fish Matter, the digital platform through which Blue Bioeconomy CoLAB (B2E) turns what the fishing industry once threw away into new economic value. Every year the sector generates enormous volumes of by-products, among them heads, viscera, skins and shells, rich in compounds prized by the food, cosmetics, nutraceutical, biomedical and chemical industries.
Caixa Mágica Software rebuilt DIGITARQ, the platform through which Portugal opens its documentary memory to the world, for DGLAB, the Directorate-General for Books, Archives and Libraries. The new generation of the platform pairs a modern, fully web-based front and back office with artificial intelligence models trained on the Portuguese state’s supercomputing network.
Project AppRecommender aims to develop a semantic recommendation and search system for mobile app stores. Sponsored by the Portugal2020 fund (Project Number: 39703), it’s promoted by Caixa Mágica Software in collaboration with ISCTE-IUL.
