Caixa Mágica Software developed, in its entirety, the eID Middleware for Cabo Verde — a cross-platform software solution designed to let every Cabo Verdean citizen make the most of their National Identity Card (CNI) across digital contexts. This project is part of the wider strategy for administrative modernisation and digital transformation of the State of Cabo Verde, a process that has been progressively bringing public services closer to citizens, simplifying procedures that traditionally required a physical presence at counters and government offices. Support was later extended to a second official document issued by the State of Cabo Verde: the Residence Permit for Foreigners (TRE), with functionalities largely similar to those of the CNI.
