It tracks the notices published daily on Portal BASE, filters them by the CPV codes chosen by the company and assigns every procurement a score from 0 to 100. The score is based on procedure type, capability match, base value, award criteria and location. AI reads the tender documents of every procurement and extracts deadlines, criteria and requirements as structured fields.

Is ConcursosGov an official government service?
No. ConcursosGov is a product of Caixa Mágica Software, S.A. It has no institutional relationship with IMPIC or with Portal BASE. The data it uses is public data.
If Portal BASE is free, why would I pay for this?
You pay for the screening, not for the access. Portal BASE is free and remains the right place to look up any notice. ConcursosGov does the daily CPV monitoring, reads the tender documents with AI, scores each procurement and keeps the team's decisions. Access to the data is public. Your team's time to read it is not.
Does ConcursosGov submit the bid for us?
No. Bids are submitted through the electronic platforms licensed by IMPIC. ConcursosGov works at the step before that: finding the procurements that matter to your business and deciding which ones to bid for.
Where does the data come from?
From Portal BASE, operated by IMPIC, the official source for Portuguese public contracts. It is searched every day. Notices arrive with title, contracting authority, base price, CPV code and deadlines. The tender documents are then read by AI to extract criteria and requirements.
How does ConcursosGov use AI?
AI models read the procedure programme and the tender specifications of every tender. Deadlines, base value, award criteria and team requirements come out as structured fields. Processing is done by Mistral AI, within the European Union. The documents are public data from Portal BASE and contain no data from your company.
Can the AI get things wrong?
Yes, like any automated reading. That is why nothing is estimated: when a value is not explicit in the documents, the field stays empty. For critical values, such as the base price or the submission deadline, check the original document before submitting a bid.
How do I know which CPV codes apply to my company?
You start from what the company sells and find the matching code in the CPV vocabulary, which holds more than nine thousand entries. In practice, most companies cover their activity with a handful of codes. The trial period is long enough to test combinations and see which tenders each one surfaces before committing to a plan.
How is the score from 0 to 100 calculated?
From five factors: procedure type, capability match, base value, award criteria and location. Part of this data comes from the tender documents read by AI. Every tender shows the breakdown of its score, so the team can see where the number came from and disagree with it on solid ground.
What happens at the end of the 14-day trial?
The account needs a paid plan to keep receiving tenders. There is no automatic charge, because signup asks for no payment details. Access pauses until a plan is chosen. The configured CPV codes and the team's decisions are kept.
Is the product available outside Portugal?
Not yet. ConcursosGov covers Portal BASE, which publishes Portuguese public procurement. That makes it useful to any company bidding for Portuguese public contracts, including foreign companies entering the market. It does not cover TED or other national portals.
Who builds and supports the product?
Caixa Mágica Software, a Portuguese company with more than twenty years in software development, including public sector projects such as the Citizen Card middleware, the CRAV portal for DGLAB and the COVID Digital Certificate app for INCM. Development, hosting and support are in Portugal. AI processing runs in the European Union through Mistral AI.
